Member-Get-A-Member Campaign

NAAAHR Atlanta announces the 2008 Membership Campaign.  The Membership Campaign provides our members with an opportunity to win prizes and recognition just for recruiting new members.  Through the membership drive, we seek to have 200+ members by the end of 2008.  Between April 2008 and June 2008, each member who recruits a member will be entered in a drawing to win prizes.  The member will receive a drawing entry for each new member recruited.  Prizes are awarded based on the following categories:

Recruiting Tips

Tip #1:

Mention NAAAHR to family, friends and co-workers.  Stress the benefits of joining:  1) increased professional network; 2) career development & leadership opportunities; 3) access to HR resources; and 4) increase the presence of the HR profession and provide leadership on issues affecting the HR profession

Tip #2:

Forward the recruit a copy of the most recent NAAAHR Atlanta e-blast

Tip #3:

Refer recruits to the NAAAHR website (www.naaahr.org) for detailed information on joining NAAAHR and to download or submit a membership application online

Tip #4:

Follow-up with your recruit to answer questions and ensure they complete and submit the membership application online or via mail

Tip #5:

Suggest that the recruit ask their employer to pay for their NAAAHR membership.  After all, the recruit’s membership in NAAAHR will ultimately bring value to the employer.

How the Membership Campaign Works

NAAAHR membership is open to HR practitioners of all levels and individuals & organizations who support our vision and the HR profession. To receive credit for your recruit’s membership, be sure they list you as their NAAAHR referral source on the membership application.  Also, send an email to MaShelle Epps, mepps@gsu.edu, Co-VP of Membership, with the name(s) of your recruit to receive credit.  Once the recruit’s application has been received and processed, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know your recruit(s) has successfully joined NAAAHR.  *drawing will be held & prizes awarded at the Membership Mixer in June, 2008.

Happy recruiting!!
